Sharing the Tools & Culture
After six years of building learning communities that have designed their own ways of supporting each other's growth, from scratch, we have developed a unique culture and set of tools to help others do the same.
It's part of our mission to support spreading anything we have learned with other grassroots learning communities, alternative educational projects and programs, and institutions looking to bring learning alive in new ways.
We work with a limited number of communities each year to offer:
Capacity Building: we design and facilitate learning experiences with students, mentors, and faculty in your program so that they learn how to co-create their own self-directed learning.
Integration of Wayfinder Tools: we offer expert facilitation, design, and coaching to integrate our tools and methodology into your program.
Communities and schools such as the Youth Initiative Program, The Dinner Party, and Hogeschool Leiden have integrated the Wayfinder Kit as a core part of their curriculum.
We've also designed and facilitated workshops for partners like On Being, Inkiri Piracanga, and Harvard Divinity School.
We offer our partners wholesale orders paired with customized workshops, ranging from two-hour crash courses to full-week sessions. For a glimpse into what we do, download the Wayfinder Mandala, one of our favorite activities to offer in person.

Program + Curriculum Design
Offering custom program design and consulting, we draw from our library of tools, resources, activities, and eight years of experience to create and facilitate vibrant experiential learning and team building within contexts like retreats, conferences, and workshops.
We focus on leveraging short, highly impactful group experiences to strengthen initiative around their learning needs and move forward with their peers to create mutual accountability and support.
Speaking Engagements
We offer limited speaking engagements for events and organizations seeking perspectives on the future of grassroots, democratized education.
Over the years, we've toured the worlds of learning and social entrepreneurship in the United States and Europe, visiting and speaking at universities, intentional communities, and grassroots hubs of DIY education. We do not have canned speeches; every opportunity to speak is an interactive conversation.
